The Mesquite Rotary Club announced the 2020 winner of the Club-level 4-Way Speech Contest - BDHS Senior Shane Charlton. Shane will move on to compete against winners from Las Vegas West and Summerlin Clubs in the Area Competition on Wednesday, March 25th.

Students were asked to structure their speeches based on the 2019-20 Rotary theme of "Rotary Connects the World," and and it's universal 4-Way Test which asks the following four questions:

“Of the things we think, say or do:

Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?”
