Littlefield Unified School District #9
Employee Benefits
2007-08
All full time employees may participate in the district health and medical plan as well as the Arizona State Retirement System.Health and Medical Plan
The district's insurance plan is administered by Boulder Administration. The plan includes the Beech Street Network, which is centered primarily within the Southern Utah and Nevada area. This is the third year this agreement has been in place.
Insurance premiums are paid entirely for the employee by the district. The district also covers seventy-five percent (75%) of the premium for dependent coverage. As the rise in health and medical premiums have been a significant challenge throughout the country over recent years, the Littlefield Unified School District #9 has been fortunate inasmuch as employee contribution has not increased for the past two years.
Qualifying employees have participation options including a cafeteria plan, health savings plan (HSP) and high deductible health plan (HDHP).
More information on the health and medical plans can be obtained by calling human resources in the district office at 928-347-5574.
Retirement
The Littlefield Unified School District #9 offers both the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) as well as social security for the buildup of retirement for employees. For more information on the retirement system, please visit the ASRS website.
