What are your feelings towards the tragedy of 9/11?

Every time I think of what happened on September 11th, 2001, it makes me angry that such a deplorable act of violence and cowardice was perpetrated to our country in the name of religion, by some evil people that hate us and our way of life. I think of those innocent nearly three thousand Americans that died because these animals were consumed with such hate and total disregard for human lives. I think of their love ones left behind and the grief they must have with their loss. I love my country and the freedom that it offered me the opportunity to work hard and create my own realities. That, my friends, could not be done anywhere else in the world-- only in America! So yes, when I think of September 11, 2001, it makes me angry, sad, and above all, it makes me thankful that I am an American.
